Trans Day of Visibility

bisexualbaker:

Two years ago today, I came out as genderflux.

Not everyone understands being nonbinary or genderqueer, let alone being genderflux specifically, but it works for me. I am so, so grateful to have a better understanding and acceptance of myself, to have a word that reflects my experiences and fits who I am as a person.

Today, I hope that everyone can have the same feelings about themselves as me, and that we can all celebrate each other for who we are and make the world a wonderful, giving, and accepting place for everyone, with a special attention to gender identity and presentation. That’s what Trans Day of Visibility means to me.
